Cabana Pego Beach Comporta sits in a very special place: from here you can hear the Atlantic, enjoy the open view across the fields to the dunes, watch the storks building their nests – or simply set off on foot to Pego Beach.

Here everyone can unwind and live at their own pace: an early surf while everyone else is still asleep? Back from the beach to the cabana's spacious lounge areas to read a book in the shade? Or dinner at JNcQUOI? Pego Beach and the JNcQUOI Beach Club are around 800 m away as the crow flies – a walk of a good ten minutes through the fields.

The village of Carvalhal and Carvalhal Beach are 3 km away, with plenty of restaurants and small shops for everyday needs. Comporta, with its relaxed atmosphere and laid-back hippie chic, is a 14 km drive; Lisbon is about an hour away.

The villa stands on a 1,100 m² plot bordering the Comporta nature reserve. It was designed by Jacques Grange in the typical Comporta style – thatched roof, white and blue limewashed façade and large windows that open the view across the pool to the countryside. Every bedroom opens onto the spacious pool terraces and has its own French-style bathroom. The whole villa has underfloor heating and air conditioning, and a fireplace in the living area makes cool evenings cosy.

The villa is furnished with exclusive pieces and natural materials that create a light yet cosy atmosphere. There are two master suites with king-size beds, one room with a queen-size bed and one room with two single beds, where an extra bed can be added. All beds are hotel quality and wonderfully comfortable.

The kitchen is superbly equipped with KitchenAid appliances, de Buyer pans and pots by Zwilling and Le Creuset – perfect for anyone who loves to cook and set a beautiful table for family and friends.

The outdoor area extends over several terraces, all facing nature and the Atlantic: lounge areas in sun and shade, daybeds, sun loungers and a long table for leisurely breakfasts and dinners. A gas barbecue invites relaxed evenings on the terrace. The saltwater pool is heatable – simply add pool heating as an extra when you book. The garden is planted with thyme, lavender, rosemary and citronella.

Your car can be parked safely under a carport on the driveway.

Also available to our guests: two bicycles, a skimboard for children, a boules set, a backgammon set and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker.

The rental price includes a daily two-hour cleaning service (except Sundays), towels and bed linen (changed weekly), pool service and a gardener.

On arrival, a welcome pack with water, wine, coffee, tea, milk, bread, honey, sugar, salt, pepper and cheese awaits you.
